We were asked to create the inside of a tomb for a Documentary in 2022 about the Shroud of Turin. We used large blocks of new and reused polystyrene to carve the tomb walls.  We created a lightweight but stable structure which could be easily carved to create texture such as rock or stone.  Starting with a render to produce a rock effect, they were then painted.  The finished tomb looked really effective in the final cut.

 

Every part of the tomb has been repurposed and used to build new sets which are currently used in the Studio and other projects.
